Roughly the size of Taiwan, Hainan is China’s southernmost province/island .

It lies between Hong Kong and Vietnam and enjoys Sub-tropical weather.

Even though Hainan is part of China, it feels more like Hawaii! With white sandy beaches, clean air, blue skies, good surfing conditions, verdant green hills, mangoes, coconut palms and a rich variety of flora and fauna.

San Ya City is located at the southern-most tip of Hainan island, the temperature is 30C for much of the year and enjoys a constant sea breeze, though when the north wind blows in Winter, temperatures can drop to 22 Celsius.

Two international airports connect Hainan with most large cities in mainland China and to many  other international destinations too. San Ya and Haikou the provincial capital in the North of the island are about one hour's flight from Hong Kong.  

The two Cities are connected by a high-speed train that is both comfortable and inexpensive (as are most things on the island).

Traditionally Hainan is about farming and fishing, and is pretty laid back. San Ya in  the south is now about tourism, beaches, yachts and resorts, popular with sailors, surfers and kite surfers. 

China's Government is now working toward establishing Hainan as a Global Hub for Trade  commerce and Technology; Tourism is also a rapidly growing industry here.

Beside job opportunities in the aforementioned, the provincial Government have a keen interest in raising and developing it's Human Resource Pool, hence wanting to attract Foreign Talent and foreign Investment.
